Gareton B.V. manages the website BitStarz.com. The company is registered and incorporated under the laws of Curaçao.

The operator refers to BitStarz.com as "Casino", "Website", "Company", "We", "Us" and "Our". "We" means the Gareton B.V. operation behind the site.

Is BitStarz licensed?

BitStarz states that it holds a licence and does not describe one as pending. Its wording: Gareton B.V. is "duly licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority (license no OGL/2024/165/0185)". That is a granted licence, not an application.

The licence number and the company registration number match what the casino states. The register adds the company type, the issue date, the expiry and the status.

The licence was issued in Curaçao. It is a Curaçao licence, not one from the UK Gambling Commission.

Complaints

BitStarz gives this route: "You may escalate the complaint to the gambling authority or request a review by a designated gambling dispute resolution service should You not be satisfied with the Casino resolution."

BitStarz names no dispute service. The Curaçao Gaming Authority certifies Alternative Dispute Resolution providers under article 5.17 of the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK). Its list of certificate holders names these:

Live baccarat

In VIP Baccarat, Player pays 1:1, Banker pays 0.95:1 and Tie pays 8:1. Banker returns 0.18 percentage points more than Player, and Tie gives up 13.3 points against Banker. Player Pair and Banker Pair pay 11:1, Either Pair pays 5:1, and a suited pair pays 25:1. The game's write-up on BitStarz reports that the stream never froze and no bet lagged.

VIP Baccarat NC drops the usual 5% commission on Banker wins. A Banker win with a total of 6 pays 0.5:1 instead. On its Player Bonus and Banker Bonus side bets, the return is 97.35% for P Bonus and 90.63% for B Bonus. A settings toggle offers High, Medium or Low video quality.
