Who runs 7Bit Casino?

Saphirix Solutions SRL owns and operates 7Bit Casino. It is a company registered under the laws of Costa Rica. The registration number is in the fact box above.

The casino was founded in 2014. A company registration in Costa Rica is not a gambling licence. The licence is a separate matter, and the next section covers it.

Is 7Bit Casino licensed?

The casino's wording is: "The Company operates under license no. 0000091 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission." That describes a licence already granted, in the present tense. It is not an application in progress.

The casino also describes its game catalogue as sitting "under the Curaçao Gaming Authority licence". That names a second regulator. We report both lines as the casino words them and do not join them into one claim. Neither line names a Great Britain licence.

On player protection, the casino states deposit limits and self-exclusion, a complaints route to an outside body and identity checks.

Complaints. The casino's complaints route has five steps:

• Complaints are first handled by the Support Team. If it cannot resolve the issue immediately, the complaint is escalated within the casino's organisational structure, and the casino says it will keep you reasonably informed.
• Only the Account Holder can complain. Complaints from anyone else are dismissed.
• The casino contacts you about a dispute using the details in your account.
• In a dispute about game results, "the Casino's server logs and records are final and binding".
• If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, you may escalate to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) body. The casino names EGIS, which it says "operates under the regulations of the Tobique Gaming Commission".

The Gambling Commission's complaints route is for businesses it licenses, so it is not the route for this casino.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority register lists these Alternative Dispute Resolution services under article 5.17 of the National Ordinance on Games of Chance:

The casino names EGIS, and the register lists EGIS-FZCO. The casino places EGIS under the Tobique Gaming Commission's regulations, while this register is the Curaçao Gaming Authority's.

Coins and payment methods

7Bit Casino accepts these fiat currencies: EUR, USD, CAD, AUD and NZD. Its crypto currencies are BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, DOG, XRP, TRX, ADA, BNB, USDT, USDC and SOL. The casino's own lists differ in length. The longest is the one above. A shorter list for deposits leaves out USDC and SOL. Its description of payments names BTC, LTC, DOGE, BCH, USDT, XRP and ETH.

7Bit Casino operates as a bitcoin platform and "also supports fiat transactions". Cash-outs go through the Cashier: open the Withdraw tab, select the token you play with, enter the crypto address and confirm.

Deposits, limits and fees at 7Bit Casino

The minimum deposit is 10 EUR (or equivalent). The welcome offer has its own minimum deposit of 20 EUR, covered in the offer section below.

The casino says a deposit "will instantly appear on your account balance". If you pay by a method in another currency, the balance is converted automatically to the equivalent amount in your active currency.

The casino states: "We aim to process all withdrawal requests within 72 hours of approval." It adds that a request from a player with an approved ID is typically processed instantly, and that processing times may vary based on the chosen deposit method.

Verification and account rules at 7Bit Casino

Identity checks. The casino states: "As part of our Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process, we may request additional documentation or conduct a phone call to verify your identity." The documents it may request, in Latin or Cyrillic script, are:

• a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's licence)
• proof of address (utility bill, bank statement)
• proof of payment method (credit card front and back, e-wallet screenshot)

For bonus withdrawals the casino may ask for an ID card, passport or driver's licence with a picture, and proof of residency such as a utility bill not older than 3 months. It reserves the right to request KYC for no-deposit bonus withdrawals.

Its statements on when the check happens differ. One answers the question "Will I need to verify my account when I make a deposit or withdrawal?" with "No, you will not need it", then adds that "in certain circumstances we may ask you to complete our verification procedure before any payment is made". Two others put the check before withdrawals. We report all three.

Age. Players must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age for gambling where they live, whichever is higher.

One account. The casino's rule is "Each individual may register and maintain only one (1) personal Player Account." Bonus offers are limited to one per person, family, household address, email address, telephone number, payment account number, IP and shared computer. The free spins are tied to games. The first 100 are for Elvis Frog in Vegas and the second 100 for Dig Digger, both by BGaming. The 50 spins from the fourth deposit are played in Wild Cash x9990 by BGaming.

These are the key terms of the welcome offer:
