What we check on every crypto casino

A casino gets a review here only when it names its operator and its licence. For every other check below, a gap stays a gap: when a casino does not state a figure, the review says it is not stated and does not fill it in.

We check: - who runs the casino, from the company its terms name - the licence it holds and where it was issued, against the licence register where one is published - the coins it takes - the withdrawal times and limits it states - the bonus wagering, and what the figure applies to

We record the date we read each casino's information, and the Sources block at the foot of this page gives it.

What those checks found differs from casino to casino. 7Bit, BetFury, BitStarz, Thunderpick, TrustDice and TrustStake each state a withdrawal time, worded as an aim, a share of requests or a ceiling, and each review sets out the coins, limits and bonus terms its casino states. Read each time with its wording, because an aim is not a result.

A bonus is easier to judge once you know what the wagering figure applies to, so each offer is read with its time limit and maximum bet as well. The section on welcome offers sets the figures side by side, and the same information is in each casino's review.

Operators and licences are set out in the next two sections, and the review of each casino holds the rest. Figures are given as the casino prints them, in the currency it uses, and are never converted. The review of each casino also notes the identity checks it states, where it states any.

Our team then tests the casinos and checks each fact before the page goes live. The detail of each step is on our page on how we check crypto casinos.

Who runs these casinos

Every casino we review is run by a named operator, and that operator is the company you would have to take a problem to first. The operators below are named as the casinos name them, with the place each is registered.

7Bit is owned and operated by Saphirix Solutions SRL, a company registered under the laws of Costa Rica. BC.Game is operated by Twocent Technology Limited, a limited liability company registered in Belize. BetFury is owned by Universe B Games B.V., a limited liability company registered in Curacao. BitStarz is managed by Gareton B.V., registered and incorporated under the laws of Curaçao.

Cloudbet is operated by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., a company incorporated under the laws of Curaçao. Thunderpick is owned and operated by Paloma Media B.V., also incorporated under the laws of Curaçao. TrustDice is operated and owned by Satoshi Gaming Group N.V., a limited liability company registered with the Curaçao Chamber of Commerce. TrustStake is operated by Sefiarray B.V., a company registered in Curacao.

Several of these operators also offer sports betting next to the casino: BC.Game lists sports, predictions, lottery and crypto futures, and BetFury and TrustDice each list a sportsbook, Thunderpick esports and sport, and TrustStake sports betting. Terms are written for the whole service, so read the ones that cover the product you plan to use.

Most of these operators are Curaçao companies; the exceptions are the Costa Rican company behind 7Bit and the Belize company behind BC.Game. The name of the operator tells you who is responsible for the casino, and it is the first thing to check before you deposit. Our page on how we check crypto casinos explains how we work out which operator is behind a casino.

Licences behind these casinos

A licence issued outside Great Britain means the Gambling Commission is not the casino's regulator, so its complaint steps are not your route; the section on complaints below says where a complaint goes instead.

On the Curaçao Gaming Authority's register, the status shown in the reviews of BetFury, Cloudbet, Thunderpick and TrustStake is Assessment in progress. We repeat that wording as the reviews give it, and their ratings each note that no active licence register status was found. A casino whose review shows no register status has none stated on the pages we read.

The table below gives the body each casino's terms name for its licence. TrustDice appears under the Gaming Control Board (GCB) because that is how its terms put it, while its review checks the same licence against the Curaçao Gaming Authority register.

BetFury's licence line names the Curaçao Gaming Authority, while its complaints clause calls its licensing body Gaming Services Provider N.V. The two name different bodies, so the review gives each as the terms print it.

TrustStake says that it is licensed in Curacao, and its licence is in fact an application with the Curaçao Gaming Control Board. Cloudbet and Thunderpick each publish a certificate of operation that names the operator and a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, which matches the licence named in their terms.

A licence is also only one part of the picture. The same casino can print a licence line, an operator and a complaints body that point to different places, so read the three together before you rely on any one of them.

When you compare two casinos, compare like with like: the issuing body each terms page names and the operator beside it. A licence line that names no issuing body, as BC.Game's does in the text we read, is a gap to weigh, not a detail to skip.

Each casino at a glance

The casinos are listed in alphabetical order. Each entry sets out what the casino states about its licence, coins, withdrawals, welcome offer, games and safer gambling tools, followed by our rating; the review linked from the name holds the full detail.

On licensing, 7Bit states a licence from the Tobique Gaming Commission. It takes fiat and crypto, with BTC, ETH, BCH, LTC, DOG, XRP, TRX, ADA, BNB, USDT, USDC and SOL listed, and pounds are not among its listed currencies. The minimum deposit is 10 EUR. It aims to process withdrawals within 72 hours of approval. The welcome package spans four deposits, opening with 100% up to 400 EUR and 100 free spins, with wagering of 35x. It lists 10,000+ games and 12 loyalty levels with weekly cashback from 5% to 20%. Its safer gambling tools include deposit and loss limits, a bet limit, a cooling-off period and self-exclusion. It scores 3.9 out of 5 in our rating.

Its live casino lists Crazy Time, Sic Bo and Monopoly Live, and it describes provably fair card games, slots, dice and roulette. Its support team can be reached around the clock, by live chat or by email.

Self-exclusion and crypto casinos

If you have self-excluded, or are thinking about it, no casino review changes that decision. Gamstop describes its block in these words: "When you register with Gamstop Online you’ll be blocked from accessing gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain."

The Gamstop scheme blocks sites licensed in Great Britain, and the casinos on this site hold licences issued elsewhere. A casino licensed outside Great Britain is never a way around a self-exclusion. If you have registered with Gamstop, do not open an account at any of them.

The Gambling Commission adds that "Gambling businesses are required to have their own self-exclusion arrangements in place." A self-exclusion made with one business covers that business, so it does not follow you to another casino, whichever licence the other one holds.

Casinos say the same about their own accounts. TrustStake's terms state: "any self-exclusion or Time-out periods requested or imposed on one account do not automatically extend to accounts on other brands or sister sites." Do not assume a limit you set in one place applies in another.

Where a casino's own tool is named on the pages we read, it is worth knowing how to ask for it. At TrustStake, self-exclusion or longer time-outs are requested through its support email. BC.Game's responsible gaming page describes a 7-day cooling-off period as an option alongside self-exclusion, so check which of the two you are choosing.

Opening a second account to get back in would break the one-account rule that 7Bit, BetFury, BitStarz, TrustDice and TrustStake state in their terms. Do not do it; ask for help instead.

Each casino's own self-exclusion and limit tools are described on its review. Read that description before you rely on a tool: some casinos here offer no stated tool, and their reviews say so. A time-out or cooling-off period is a break of a set length; a self-exclusion is a longer, firmer step, and the review states which of the two a casino names. Set limits before you play, not after a loss.

If you have excluded yourself and feel tempted, close any casino tabs and apps you have open, remove saved cards and wallet links from them, and tell someone you trust. Waiting a day before you act on the urge is a step anyone can take.

A sister site is never a way around a self-exclusion.

If gambling is costing you more than you meant to spend, or you are worried about someone else's, the help services at the foot of this page and our responsible gambling page list who to call. You do not need to wait for a bad week to use them.

Comparing crypto welcome offers

Wagering is the figure to read first in any welcome offer, because it sets how much you must stake before the bonus can be withdrawn; it is in bold below.

The four-deposit package from 7Bit carries 35x wagering on the bonus and on winnings from the spins. Video slots count 100% toward it, all other games 5% and live casino games 0%. A deposit of at least 20 EUR claims it, the bonus expires after 14 days if the wager is not covered, and the maximum bet per spin while wagering is 1 EUR.

Slots and live games carry 40x wagering on the 590% deposit bonus and 225 free spins from BetFury. Registering and depositing at least $5 activates it, the bonus must be wagered within 14 days, and bets are capped at 10 USD while a bonus is active. System bets are excluded from contributing.

A first deposit at BitStarz brings a 100% bonus and 180 free spins, and the next three deposits carry up to €400 or 4 BTC; BitStarz publishes no wagering figure, minimum deposit or time limit for this offer, so it cannot be set against the others.

Up to €600 for betting or €2,000 for casino is the limit on Thunderpick's 100% first deposit match, and a deposit of at least €20 activates it. No wagering figure, time limit or maximum bet is stated; slots count 100% toward wagering and blackjack, roulette and baccarat count 5%.

Across its first three deposits, TrustDice pairs a 500% welcome bonus with 100 free spins, each deposit bonus carrying 40x wagering on the bonus. The deposit bonus is valid for 7 days from receipt, and only bets below 2 EUR count toward the requirement.

The highest figure stated is 45x at TrustStake, which applies it to its bonus and bonus winnings, with the first-deposit part also recorded at 35x on bonus plus deposit. Slots count 100% toward wagering, and roulette bets on both black and red do not count. A deposit of at least 20 EUR activates it, the bonus expires after 7 days and the spins after 2, the maximum bet is €5, and no more than €5000 can be converted from bonus winnings. Crypto deposits do not qualify.

Compare time limits as well as multipliers: seven days is tighter than fourteen.

How we rate the casinos

Each casino gets a score out of 5 built from what it states about its bonuses, games, account and safety, VIP and loyalty, support and mobile play. A criterion that cannot be scored from the casino's pages is left out of that casino's score and marked as not scored in its review, so read the criteria beside the number.

7Bit and TrustDice both score 3.9. 7Bit's score rests on its game count, its 12 loyalty levels, its 24/7 live chat and a welcome wagering of 35x, while TrustDice's rests on its game count, its 9-tier VIP Club and its 24/7 live chat.

BetFury scores 3.1, lifted by its game count and its VIP tiers and held back by its 40x welcome wagering and a single support channel. TrustStake scores 2.6, mainly because of its 45x welcome wagering, a single support channel and no store app found.

BitStarz scores 3.1 on its account and safety, its VIP Club and its live chat. Cloudbet scores 2.9 and Thunderpick 2.3, each resting on a game count and a 0 of 5 for account and safety. BC.Game scores 2.3.

A rating is not a safety certificate. A casino can score well on games and loyalty and badly on account and safety, or the reverse. Payments and speed is read in each review but is not scored, so a stated withdrawal time informs your reading without moving the number.

Our team tests the casinos, and every fact on this page is checked before it is published. The weights behind each score and the full steps are on our page on how we check crypto casinos.

Complaints and disputes

A complaint about a casino goes to the casino first. The Gambling Commission's steps say to complain directly to the gambling business and follow its complaints process, and, if the answer does not settle it, to take the complaint after 8 weeks to an alternative dispute resolution provider, a free, independent service the business names. The Commission adds that it does not resolve or make decisions on complaints regarding gambling-related transactions.

Those steps apply to businesses the Commission licenses. The casinos here state licences from other bodies, so the route is the one each casino sets out in its terms, and the review of each names what those terms say.

Where a first step is set: 7Bit's support team handles a complaint first, then an independent dispute body, EGIS. BetFury escalates from customer service to its management, then to its licensing body or its approved provider, EGIS-ADR. TrustDice takes a complaint by email or through customer service, then any independent body or regulator listed on its site. TrustStake takes it to customer service, then to Curacao eGaming. BitStarz lets you escalate to the gambling authority or a dispute resolution service.

Ask the casino for its answer in writing, and ask which dispute service it names: the Gambling Commission says the business should be able to tell you which ADR provider to use and give you their contact details. The Commission no longer lists providers, so we name none for the market as a whole; the bodies named above are the ones each casino names.

Where a casino's terms name no complaints route, contact its support and keep every reply: if the matter goes further, that record is your evidence.

Gambling help for UK players

Gambling is for adults only: the Gambling Commission says that in most cases the minimum legal age for gambling in Great Britain is 18.

7Bit, BC.Game, BetFury, BitStarz, TrustDice and TrustStake each state a minimum age of 18 on their own pages, in line with the Commission's figure for Great Britain.

If gambling is a problem for you or someone close to you, call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, which serves England and Scotland, or the NHS Wales Helpline on 0808 2819 265, which serves Wales. We hold no help line for Northern Ireland to list.

GambleAware lists support services that are available only to Great Britain residents. Gamstop is the all-sites self-exclusion scheme for Great Britain: one registration blocks gambling websites and apps licensed there.

Call before a deposit, not after. If you have already deposited more than you planned, stop and use the services above before you play again.

The UK's advertising code for gambling asks that marketing be socially responsible, with particular regard to the need to protect children, young persons and other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited. We have read that code, and we claim no legal clearance for our pages.

A sister site is never a way around a self-exclusion.

Questions about crypto casinos

Who runs the crypto casinos you review?

7Bit is run by Saphirix Solutions SRL, BC.Game by Twocent Technology Limited, BetFury by Universe B Games B.V., BitStarz by Gareton B.V., Cloudbet by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., Thunderpick by Paloma Media B.V., TrustDice by Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. and TrustStake by Sefiarray B.V. Most are Curaçao companies, and each name comes from the casino's own terms.

What does a crypto casino licence cover?

Most of the casinos' pages name the body that issued the licence and print its number, but none sets out what the licence covers on the pages we read. Treat a licence line as the casino's statement of who permitted it to operate, not a promise about payouts or complaints. Where the Curaçao register lists a licence, the review gives the status shown there.

Which licences do the crypto casinos we review hold?

The Curaçao Gaming Authority is named by BetFury, BitStarz, Cloudbet and Thunderpick, and TrustDice names the Gaming Control Board. 7Bit's licence is from the Tobique Gaming Commission. TrustStake says it is licensed in Curacao, and BC.Game prints a licence number without naming who issued it in the text we read. Each review gives the number and the date it was read.

Does Gamstop cover crypto casinos licensed outside Great Britain?

Gamstop describes its block as covering gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain, and the casinos we review state licences from other bodies. Whether Gamstop blocks a given casino is not stated on the pages we read, so do not assume either way. If you have registered with Gamstop, treat every casino here as off limits, whatever licence it holds.

Which coins do the casinos we review accept?

7Bit lists coins from BTC to SOL, BetFury says it takes over 55 crypto assets, and Cloudbet names Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple and Tether. Pounds are not among the currencies listed by 7Bit, BetFury, Thunderpick and TrustDice.

How fast do crypto casinos say they pay out?

The times are stated as aims or ceilings. At BetFury it is over 95% of withdrawal requests within minutes, at BitStarz and TrustDice an aim of one hour, at Thunderpick up to 24 hours, at 7Bit 72 hours from approval and at TrustStake 1-3 business days after verification. Each review gives the wording the casino uses.

What wagering comes with a crypto casino bonus?

Where a casino states it, welcome wagering runs from 35x at 7Bit to 45x at TrustStake, with BetFury and TrustDice at 40x. Compare only the figures each casino states, and check whether it applies to the bonus alone or to deposit plus bonus.

How does Chain Casino UK rate the casinos?

Each rating is a score out of 5, built from what the casino itself states, and each review lists which criteria could be scored and which could not. Scores run from 2.3 to 3.9. A rating built on few criteria is a thinner signal than one built on many, so read the criteria beside the number. The weights and the arithmetic are on the method page, not here.

Does Chain Casino UK test the casinos?

Yes. Before a page goes live, our team tests the casinos and every fact on it is checked. A figure a casino does not state is shown as not stated, never estimated. The same criteria apply to every casino, and each review shows which of them could be scored.

Where can UK players get help with gambling?

The National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133 for England and Scotland, and the NHS Wales Helpline is on 0808 2819 265 for Wales. Both numbers serve Great Britain only, so check which one covers where you live before you call. GambleAware has its own support pages, and for self-exclusion across all sites licensed in Great Britain, Gamstop is the scheme to use.
